Impartiality & Conflict of Interest Statement

TUV United Certification Body recognizes the importance of impartiality in conducting management system certification activities and is fully committed to upholding the highest standards of objectivity, transparency, and independence.

To ensure the integrity of its certification activities, TUV United shall:

✓ Manage and mitigate conflicts of interest to prevent undue influence on certification decisions.

✓ Maintain impartiality by ensuring that all personnel, auditors, and decision-makers act independently and free from external pressures.

✓ Ensure the objectivity of certification processes, with all decisions based solely on compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.

✓ Regularly assess and monitor risks to impartiality, documenting any potential conflicts and taking corrective actions as necessary.

✓ Empower the Impartiality Committee to oversee impartiality matters and provide independent advisory recommendations.

✓ Ensure financial sustainability by maintaining adequate reserves and liability insurance to cover potential risks arising from certification activities.
